FULL-TIME
Technical Maintenance
Location: Zurich (field-based, Switzerland-wide travel)
Facility Technician
You will be responsible for day-to-day technical maintenance, inspections and repairs across our commercial client properties. Working as part of the Tanance field team, you will handle scheduled maintenance visits, reactive callouts and compliance checks — ensuring every property stays operational and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems
- Carry out safety and compliance inspections in line with SIA, EHS and cantonal requirements
- Document work completed and report findings to the project manager
- Coordinate with specialist subcontractors when licensed trades are required
- Respond to emergency callouts within agreed SLA timeframes
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in the job management system
Requirements
- Apprenticeship or technical qualification in a relevant trade (Haustechnik, Elektro, Sanitär or similar)
- Minimum 2 years experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related technical role
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Valid Swiss driving licence (Category B)
- Good German language skills; basic English an advantage
- Familiarity with Swiss building regulations and EHS standards an advantage
FULL-TIME
Project Management
Location: Zurich (office-based, occasional site visits)
Project Assistant
You will support our project management team in coordinating commercial fit-out, construction and maintenance contracts. This is a hands-on coordination role — you will be the link between clients, suppliers and on-site teams, ensuring documentation, scheduling and communication stay on track.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers with scheduling, documentation and supplier coordination
- Prepare and maintain project files, compliance records and handover documentation
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resource availability
- Support client communication -- preparing status updates, meeting notes and reports
- Manage purchase orders, invoices and expense tracking for assigned projects
- Monitor project timelines and flag delays or risks to the responsible project manager
Requirements
- Commercial apprenticeship (KV) or equivalent qualification in a business or technical field
- 1-3 years experience in project coordination, administration or a related role
- Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in German; good English is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project tools an advantage
- Interest in construction, facility management or the built environment preferred
PART-TIME
Facility Services
Location: Zurich and surrounding area (field-based)
Cleaning & Maintenance Staff
You will carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning and light maintenance services at our commercial client sites across the Zurich area. Work is varied — from daily office cleaning to post-renovation cleans and periodic deep cleaning. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled cleaning at commercial offices, retail spaces and industrial properties
- Perform post-construction and deep cleaning as required
- Handle light maintenance tasks such as restocking consumables, reporting faults and minor repairs
- Follow cleaning procedures, COSHH guidelines and workplace safety requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Tanance with care and reliability
- Report any property damage or concerns to the team coordinator
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping or building maintenance preferred
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working at various commercial sites across the Zurich area
- Basic German language skills; other languages welcome
- No formal qualifications required -- full training provided
- Swiss work permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland required
FULL-TIME
IT & Operations
Location: Zurich (hybrid — office and remote)
SAP Support & IT Assistant
You will provide first-level SAP and IT support to our operations team, helping our field staff and project managers use our systems efficiently. This is a junior-to-mid level role combining technical support with process improvement, sitting within a growing operations function.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for SAP queries and system issues across the operations team
- Set up and maintain user accounts, devices and software licences
- Assist with onboarding of new staff -- equipment preparation and system access
- Document IT processes, system configurations and recurring issue resolutions
- Liaise with external IT vendors and SAP consultants for escalated issues
- Support continuous improvement of internal systems and workflows
Requirements
- Apprenticeship or bachelor degree in IT, informatics or a related field
- Familiarity with SAP (any module) is an advantage; full SAP training provided
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and standard IT support tools
- Patient, methodical and able to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Good German and English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Eligible to work in Switzerland
FULL-TIME
Facility Management
Location: Zurich (field-based with office days)
Facility Manager
A senior role for an experienced facility management professional ready to take ownership of a portfolio of commercial client accounts. You will lead the delivery of maintenance contracts, manage client relationships, and coordinate our field team and subcontractor network — acting as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial facility management contracts for Tanance clients
- Act as primary client contact -- conducting regular site visits, reviews and reporting
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programmes, reactive callouts and SLA compliance
- Coordinate the Tanance field team and subcontractor network for assigned accounts
- Manage budgets, purchase orders and invoicing for assigned client accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts
- Ensure full compliance with SIA, EHS and contractual requirements
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in facility management, property management or a related field
- Proven experience managing maintenance contracts and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of Swiss building regulations, EHS standards and SIA guidelines
- Confident communicator -- able to present to clients and manage expectations
- Fluent German and good English (written and spoken); French an advantage
- Valid Swiss driving licence (Category B)
- Experience with CAFM or FM management software an advantage
